Pandemic a positive for business owners and freelancers alike?

Although the pandemic has taken a huge toll on peoples working lives, for some businesses it has had a positive impact.

Millions of people have been forced to work from home since Covid, which, before, was something that employers were reluctant to offer to their staff unless it was a necessity. It has been a big experiment, testing what life might be like without a physical workplace, and its shown just how much can be done virtually.

A main factor that has saved or helped many businesses throughout the last year is hiring a freelancer, many people had never heard of a Virtual Assistant before but they have the potential to transform how organisations work internally and help your business to grow!

An advantage that businesses have found is the financial benefits to hiring a Virtual Assistan as it will reduce their overheard costs. For example, you will save on office space, office supplies, utility bills and other facilities which means less outgoings. You will also be able to save money by not having to hire additional part-time staff, many people do not realise a client only pay VA’s for the hours worked on each task. Whereas with part-time employees must be paid for the hours they are in work.

A question people are asking themselves is “will remote working stay after we emerge from lockdown?” Although it is hard to say whether the world will go back to the way it was before, I think the last few months has shown what is truly possible.

There are many advantages to using a Virtual Assistants services and you may find that hiring one is the best solution for your business.
